| This is a story of a 22 years old patient who was born to less educated parents in remote area and reared as Female in early life. She passed all her exams in both her school and graduation level. Not a single instance has come in her life when she ever felt ambiguity in her sexual behaviour. As a normal human being, she continued her studies and went to Mumbai. She applied for a job as a female candidate and luckily got selected for the job. After selection, she started her training in the training college. During training, abnormality of genital was noted by examining doctors, who referred her case to detailed examination to bigger hospital. During her examination, detailed ultrasound revealed absence of uterus. She was referred to AIIMS, New Delhi for expert opinion. After expert opinion, she was asked to leave the training as her selection was cancelled on the grounds that she applied as female while her generic sex was 46 XY, which was consistent with males.
